Music
I write songs as a way of paying attention—to the place where faith, questions, and everyday life meet.

Music has been a steady thread throughout my life. I write as a way of working through questions, holding tension, and naming what is real. The goal is not resolution as much as honesty and attention. That said, I am resolved in the essentials of my faith.
I have been part of several bands over the years, most notably as the lead vocalist and songwriter for Ebb Tide. We performed across the U.S. West Coast in a range of settings, from churches and coffee shops to small venues and campuses, and recorded two albums together. We also had the opportunity to travel to East London, UK. In addition to band work, I have recorded a worship album and a solo EP.
In recent years, I have stepped back from regular performing while raising a family, but I continue to write and occasionally play at special events or reunions.
You can visit the Events page for any upcoming opportunities to hear me play.

As Worship Director at Gresham Bible Church, I help lead congregational singing with an emphasis on songs that are both beautiful and theologically sound. The aim is to help the church see Christ clearly and respond with sincerity.
